Jorge’s background in Construction Engineering from New York and Aleen’s studies in Design and Animation in California, USA and Jerusalem, Israel provided a unique blend of technical expertise and creative vision. Both of us were passionate about real estate, and we each earned our real estate licenses before we even met. After marrying in 2006, we further expanded our skill set by becoming licensed mortgage brokers.
In 2008, as the real estate market crashed, we faced significant challenges. Having just completed the restoration of a historic 1920s home in West Palm Beach’s Historic District, we found ourselves underwater on that property and others. With the market in turmoil, we knew the recovery would take time. That’s when we made the decision to pivot, and look for new strategies.
